King Arthur Adjustable Cake Baking Strips Set/2

These great baking tools conduct heat evenly to help prevent cakes from doming, cracking, and over-baking, creating smooth, level layers that are easier to stack, ice and decorate. Made from polyester, cotton, and Velcro, each strip is heat safe up to 400° F. The strips adjust easily with a Velcro closure to fit straight-sided 8”and 9” round cake pans securely, creating a consistent baking environment that encourages flat results without trimming away any domed top. To use, soak the strips in water for 15 minutes, squeeze out any excess, and wrap them snugly around the pan before adding your batter. After baking, allow the strips to cool completely before removing, then wipe clean as needed. Each strip measures 32” x 1.5”.
